Default Rochester Choke help

I have a 1976 with a Rochester Quadrajet stamping on the side is 7042210. The car has been sitting around for 8 years and I can get it started and it runs great when hot but how do you adjust the choke? The choke is always open and it doesn't have the coil to adjust.

Thanks,

You have the wrong carb for the car, so you cannot use the choke. The carb you have is a divorced choke carb which requires the use of a divorced choke coil on the manifold. Your 1976 car requires use of an integral choke carb, and has no provision for mounting of a divorced choke. Get the right carb for the car.

OK so I found a 17056202 Rochester. If I read this correctly this should work as well. can you verify?

That carb is identical to the 76 Vette carb and will work great if properly set up.
