SEM interior paint closest to Medium Red
I like using the SEM vinyl paint for touching up the interior pieces on several other project cars. Does anyone have any experience with the SEM standard colors in the red family BEST matching the Med. Red interior on a 1981 corvette?

Go to a nearby professional auto paint supply store and have them mix up a pint of SEM "Color Coat" to you GM interior color code or mix to match an interior piece you bring in. If you don't have spray equipment, buy a $5 PreVal bottle/gas-cannister sprayer. It will do a great job with vinyl dye.

Thanks everyone for the information, I wanted to do a nice job that matched and we have a SEM dealer in this area that I believe can match that interior code color and I enjoy spraying paint, so the best of both. Thanks again.

I buy a ton of these at the local paint store. They're great to use for your application or other small projects when you don't fell like using hvlp or other spray setup that requires some cleaning when your done. After you buy the initial kit,(aerosol canister, measured jar,etc), you can just buy the propellant as needed in the future or additional jars for that matter with screw caps
