74 Upper and Lower Dash removal help
The car does not have air.
I am looking at replacing the upper dash pad. I was also considering insulating the interior too.
Any help full tips?

Removing the steering column is probably the hardest part IMO. Removing the speedo and tach cable was the trickiest part, having someone to help from the engine bay made it much easier

Removing the dash panels and dash cap is a LOT of work. If the dash cap has minor cracks and chips, you can salvage it in place with carefully applied 'spot' body putty and some SEM 'Color Coat' vinyl dye to recolor it...much easier and less expensive than replacement.
If the surface of the dash pad is breaking up, you need to replace it.
