***Thinking about changing for coil overs, need advice***
I got my suspension done now, or that's what I though before I started hearing comments that I should change my shocks for coil overs ASAP. So now I would like to hear whadda ya guys and gals think about coil over shocks?
Who makes them?
How much?
Pros and cons?
Handling improvment?
Are they easier to adjust than my current adjustables?
I'll be very thankful for all the input you can give my about coil over shocks.
TIA, Jay

I looked at that project too. I called several of the companys selling them and was told to not do it. The front will only be riding on 1 bolt. That's the one on the stud sticks through the top A-frame and if the other style is used it still looks like the system you already have. The only thing is that you have a better adjustable ride height.
Then in the back you will have a lot of trouble getting a proper angle on the shock and spring because of clearances. I gave up on that idea last week. Oh yeah, MAJOR BUCKS! JIM

Call QA1 Motorsports, I used a search engine to find their web-site and then got their number and just called up and asked. Real nice guy and was very informative. JIM
Jay, where are you currently camping out? London or Helsinki?
It probably would be fairly cheap to ship to england or finland!
I'm investigating what the cheapest price is that I can get some Koni double or single adjustables for here (netherlands, they're made here!)
A company in Germany sells them for a whopping 1200$ for kit complete with brackets and stuff but if you look on their website you can see the mounting is redicilously simple!

The ones I'm looking at are the:

Single Adjustable (80-2650 Steel Body and 8216 Aluminum Body): Shock includes adjustable spring platform and features rebound tuning capabilities
and the

Double Adjustable (8212 Aluminum Body): The shock that revolutionized chassis tuning is adjustable in both rebound and compression.
These last ones are the ones ACP uses, then all you need is some H&R springs and you're done!
Here's the ACP kit:
