Rechrome Bumpers...Where???
Where is the best place to get bumpers rechromed? What is the average price? What is a fair price? What experiences has everyone had with various shops that do this work? I just need some info on this topic. Thanks in advance.

I had my two rear bumpers done for $180 (both) at a local shop. They even straightened out a small dimple in the driver's side bumper. :) They look great.

Send them to Hanlon Plating in Richmond VA. You'll get them back in a week, looking great, for about $110 a piece. Their phone number and address can be found in the yahoo yellow pages. They did my bumpers and MELVIN's too.

I checked local listings at the Online Yellow Pages and found several chrome plating places... I compared prices and finally decided for one place. Always ask for the price of double or triple plating! Single plating is much cheaper but double or triple plating is so much nicer... I paid over $700 to get both rear bumpers, the front bumper and both bumper guards triple plated!

around NE rears are $250 each, fronts $300, the bumerettes are $100 each this is for triple plating. I had the air cleaner lids tripled plated on the 69 & 72 and it cost $250 :eek:
