I'm in Dallas and have contacted some of the well-known dyno-tuning shops about getting a tune. They all declined because I am running a Carb instead of F.I..Is dyno-tuning with a carb a dyeing thing?
Anyone know someone in Dallas?

Ditto in the SC low county. I would be interested in a dyno-tune in Myrtle Beach - Georgetown County area of South Carolina.

It seems that most of the people doing dyno tunes these days cater to the C5/C6 crowd. They are more "plug and play" mechanics than the old school guys that work with carbs, points, dwell meters etc. They probably wouldn't remember the old Sun machines that had all the functions you needed to set up the old cars.
There is a shop in san antonio here that say they can tune a carb. After talking to them basically you are just renting the dyno operator. You have to provide a range of jets, power valves, distributer weights and springs etc but they will do the run and show you lean or rich and then they will change the jets accordingly. They just told me that they dont stock a lot of carb tuning parts since carbs are not as popular as they used to be. Almost makes me want to look again into the powerjection III kit.
