LS 7 Heads
I have a pair of LS7 291 heads on my '69 427/435 engine.
Does any one have an opinion if these heads are desireable?
Thanks

291 heads are closed chamber rectangular port heads,,,so they aren't LS-7's which would be open chambered.
They are good heads for what they are....pretty much like what came on the 427/435.
What's casting date on them?

LS7 heads are the same used on the LS6. Nothing wrong with them except open chamber.....sold a set a few years ago for 1200.00 right off my crate LS7.....replaced them with a set of aluminum Darts from George Delorian and immediately took 70 lbs. off the front end....

Let's see.....I used to buy LS-7's for $1800-$2000...and you got $1200 for the heads????
What a shrewd businessman you are!!!!
I knew I've been doing something wrong all this time......
