79 windshield frame compatibility
I have a 79 with a pretty rotted upper windshield header. Looks like the windshield was replaced a while ago and had a poor seal along the upper edge.
I see a used windshield frame on eBay for a 1975. The listing says it may fit other years. How can I find out if a 75 would fit a 79 OK? Is there a reference/resource online or in a book that lists that kind of compatibility?
Compared to new parts, this used frame might be worth a little risk anyway, but I don't really want to pay to ship it here and see that it won't work.
If anyone knows if they are compatible, or if you know of a resource that is out there, I'd really appreciate it.
