70 454 EXH Manifold question
A friend of mine bought a 70 454 for in his 70 Vette but it didn't have any exhaust manifolds with it. He found a set of manifolds but there off a 71 truck 454, anyone know if these will fit his motor and if they'll fit in his engine compartment? He knows he'll have to have custom bent manifold pipes but thats not a concern. Thanks for any help,

You can make anything fit and work if you try. To the point, the vette had special manifolds that not only fit, but flowed better, especially better than a truck. Do yourself a favor, find the right ones, new or used or headers and you will be much happier in the long run. :cheers:

I think they're specific to the Vette. I saw a set on E-bay for $550!
