70 454/390 Carb Replacement
I am looking to swap out my quadrajet on my 70 454/390 auto,was looking for any suggestions and feedback on what to go with..Thanks Jerry

What are your goals in doing this swap? I'm a Holley fan but I wouldn't recommend that you make a change without knowing what you expect from a replacement carb or why you want to get rid of the Q-jet.

Agree with the above. Run a kit through the old Q-Jet which flows 750 cfm and will provide better mileage than a Holley equivalent.
Plus, I believe your L-36 has an aluminum q-jet intake; the only BB aluminum q-jet intake ever made by GM.
