Last week I purchased my first Vette, a '73 which I am loving. If you recall, I am the 60's Mustang guy that has now converted to Bowtie. I appreciate all the encouragement and support from this forum.
As promised, here are some pics I took of her today.
I am happy with the original interior and the paint job is good as well. The car runs good, but this winter I think I'll go ahead and pull the engine and rebuild it as I want about 325-350hp. I think I'll also go ahead and swap out some of the suspension parts. I am loving this car.
Hi FS,
Your car really does look great! Silver and red is a knock-out combination.
When you start on the engine this winter consider saving EVERYTHING. You just don't know what original part you or a future owner may want someday.
Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures!
Regards,
Alan
Wow, I like the color combo. I love the chrome bumper cars, but really think the 73 body lines are one of the best, plus you still get the chrome bumpers. Don't get wrong, I like all the C3's, but the 73 is my favorite.
Anyway, welcome, I was a ford guy (torino's) many many moons ago. I actually appreciate all muscle cars, but C3's are one of the best.
