Thanks. I'm not really in it for the Quarter either, but it's fun to do every once in awhile. I'm just hoping for some 10's.

Another neat thing about forced induction is that you can turn the boost down while you're on the street just cruising around. I'm gonna use one of the HKS wastegate controllers to limit the boost on the street.

RedTurbo's car is amazing. I can't beleive I never saw it until a month or two ago. Didn't you guys just put a SpeedPro/FAST system in it?

Hey guys, the first rounds one me!

Yes, Terry just recently installed the FAST/SP system. His first endeavor into electronic fuel systems. He's a fast learner, but still hasn't seen it run to its optimum. He will be buying a larger intercooler, so his old one will belong to me. I plan to purchase his T-76 and want to go with an adjustable waste gate, as well. I really like that idea.

Like most of us, I am anxious to see your project on the ground. I want to hear how the Steeroids system works for you. The next item will be lighter brakes and maybe the 6 link. Keep up the excellent work, but hurry, it's almost May.

Still waiting on the intercooler, but here's a shot of the mounted wastegates, everything else is done. They're delivering the car to me this Saturday (if the Fedex can find the intercooler core).

Monty they look beautiful! They'll look great when they get heated up a few times, too. What kind of radiator/support setup do you have?

Thanks. We removed the stock radiator support so that we could lower and tilt the radiator a little. In it's place we just made some brackets out of aluminum angle and TIG'd them to the radiator. The intercooler will be mounted the same way.

He's going to burnish the headers and downpipes, so they'll look almost like chrome.

Well, we finished up the car this evening and it's getting delivered tomorrow. Tom did a real nice job with the intercooler. Welding aluminum and making it look takes some good experience and it showed today. The intercooler looks very nice and he made a mounting bracket for it from chromoly tubing.

Monty your car looks great. I'm all thumbs when it comes to mechanical work. There are many cars on the forum that look good, but Yours and Merlins' are awsome. Please keep the pic's coming. I enjoy looking at these cars even though I could neither afford or build one. Keep up the good work! :conehead :chevy

Thanks guys. There were some "trying" moments, but tI think the end result amkes it all worth it. we brought the car up last night, and I've already started pulling it all back apart so that I can take the block and crank to the machine shop. In the meantime, I've got a few odds and ends to finish up on the car, mostly electrical, and few enhancements I want to make. I should be back on the road in about a month or so. I would expect to dyno test and tune it around the Memorial Day, and then reinstall the motor and hit the streets.
