need help door jam
hi all: i need help ,on my 81 vette the pass:side i can"t unlock the door to open it so i can"t open the door , i think one of the linkage got loose but i can"t see it. ? is how can i open the door a pic will help alot to thank for all the help

This is a very common problem with the C3s. Either try a search on this forum or buy a basic book for C3s. It is a pain. You have to pull off the door panel to get to it. Expect bloody scrapes on your arms and a lot of frustration. (ask me how I know). What happens is that the mechanism gets wet repeatedly over the years and rusts. The lock mechanism jams up and prevents the door from opening. But it can be opened and repaired. Good luck.

If you can get the interior door panel off (good luck, since on the 71 even after you take off the window crank there is still a retainer clip screwed on at the bottom) without destroying it, there is a an access hole in the door frame where you can manually force the door mechanism open. I took apart the linkage completely on mine this summer, and concure with previous entry on the cut and bloody fingers 
but it can be done. If I have the time next week, I'll take my door panel off and try to get a zoom in picture of the thing.
