Removeing exhaust emissions
HI,
I have removed all exhaust emissions from my 1975 Corvette ( L82, stick shift 4 speed) as there are no emissions tests here for cars over 25 y.o.,
My question is do I need to re set the timeing & re tune the Quadrajet carb? (M4MC 7045211) any information much appreciated thanks

be careful what you say to whom about emission controls.in new york state it is illegal to knowingly remove or render inoperative any emission control device on a motor vehicle.the cars are exempt from emission testing and the inspector can fail any car he suspects of being tampered with.(my guy said he didn't notice it was all ripped out)i was lucky.good luck with your carb adjustments though.
