Default Intake Options

Am looking for Dual Plane intake manifold options for 87-96 style heads. Edelbrock list a 2104 Performer and a 2604 Performer Air Gap. Any other square bore options. Not worried about hood clearance as much as a good intake for mild 350 325hp at flywheel stock heads.

GM also makes one if you looking to keep that great GM feeling it's part # 12366573. I know it's the same manifold as the ZZ430 has and GM rated it @ 430 HP.

325 fwhp w/stock heads does not need much intake at all ... the mildest aftermarket will do fine. Although I don't KNOW exactly what you have, I think you can fit a pre-87 intake with minor mod.

your (late) center boltholes are at different angle than others ... some aftermarket intakes include adapters to compensate ... You should verify Your angles etc.

I will have to take another look at Jeggs and Summit. I forget I know the angle is either 8 or 18 degrees and the Edelbrock intakes mentioned are for theses heads, just didn't know if there were others I wasn't seeing. Want a good one for when I go 400hp plus in the Vette. Right now this is in my 92 Camaro, needed a motor and had this one which was intended for the Vette. Put a mild cam and stock heads on hoping to run it with the computer but it just doesn't like it. It stumbles both at idle and during accellerationI know I can get a chip and bigger throttle body to correct this but am planning on rebuilding the original 305 for the Camaro, 25th anniversary vert so I want to keep it all original. Once I put the original motor back in everything will be fine.
