Where are the lubrication points on a 1976 Corvette with manual transmission?
I just bought a 1976 Corvette with manual transmission and one of the first tasks on my to-do list is to make sure the car has grease in all the right spots.
Does anybody have a chart or list of all the grease point, so I don't miss any? Or do I just get under the car and lubricate at every grease point I can see?

I reccomend you find a haynes or even a (gag) chilton manual for your car. This is pretty standard stuff to find in a manual.
quick list from memory though
@@ I am pretty sure the factory idler arm had a lube point, most aftermarket heavy duty units I have seen do not
++ may or may not apply depending on optional equipment or aftermarket parts
## originally your u-joints would be solid joint and not have a grease fitting however that doesnt mean a previous owner couldnt have added them.
There are no lube fittings at the rear end at all
quick list from memory though
- upper and lower ball joints
- inner and outer tie rod ends
- idler arm @@
- power steering control valve ++
- pitman arm connection to relay rod ++
- driveshaft and half shaft u-joints ##

Thanks for the reply fauxrs.
I actually have both the haynes and the chilton manual, both have not been able to find the lube chart in either.
I'm wondering if I am reading it wrong, so maybe I should go back and look once again.
But thanks again.
