Am I missing a dash support?

Am I missing a dash support?
My left side dash panel has always sagged out a little bit. Is there some support that's supposed to go up behind it to stiffen it? The little nub that goes up against the center console always sticks off to the side because of the sagging.

That seems to be a trademark of early C3's. some are just worse than others. That is why so many center cluster trim pieces are broken on the sides just above the gauges.

There are 2 dashboard supports, one on each side. Haven't crawled under in awhile, but as I recall, each runs diagonally from the area above each kick panel to the center dash area. Check the Assembly Manual. Hope this helps. Chuck
