Default Just bought a 72 C3

Well I just wanted to say hello to the C3 Community. I hope there are some members around Dallas Texas. My father owned a 1978 C3 when I was 10 years old that's when the bug bite me. Well as a kid I liked the 68-72 so 20 years later finally made the dive. I found a 72 priced right. It seems non paying members cannot post pictures. Which in time I will be. Could someone provide me with a wiring diagram for the car. I have a bunch off loose wires everywhere. I can e-mail pics if somebody can post them up . I may be able to assist some local memebers. I have a 2000sq ft shop with a 2 post lift that comes in pretty handy.

Where does everyone get there parts? I have looking into Eklers.

Welcome to the club. I know there are lots of members on here in the DFW area and I remember seeing a thread for a N. TX get together. If you want to post pictures sign up for a photobucket account and use the [img] tags to insert the pictures.

For parts Ecklers, Mid America, Zip, and many more are out there. Check out the sponsors along the left side of the page here on the site.

Welcome to the forum. You can post pics. Do like mentioned above; open a photobucket account, upload the pics to it, copy the IMG link, and paste on on your thread. We love pics.

She needs alot of work needs all new suspension some interior work. This is a non matching motor car. Which I am happy with because I bought the car to drive. I don't mind telling people what I paid seems to draw interest the the thread. Price Paid $9000 I have already driven it 200 miles in a week. Could some one PM me on a wire diagram for the car.

Welcome and great deal, nice car. You can get great elect. diagrams from Doc. Rebuild, they are called oOsoeze and they show actual connectors and wire colors, very easy to follow. I get them for both my 64 and 73. He is also a good source for parts, as well as Paragon and Willcox.

Good looking car and you got it for a great price. There are quite a few C-3 members around the DFW area. We have just recently been getting aquainted with each other. Come to the cars and coffee tomorrow and meet the guys. I wish I could be there but I made prior arrangements to go to the car show at the Texas motor speedway. Hope to meet you soon. My daughter lives over in Waxahachie off of 287.

I just bought my first Corvette, too, a 1982. I'm in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas. Hope to see you around.
