When I turn on the left signal, everything works fine. However, when I turn on the right signal, both rear lights blink. Anybody have an idea what this is and how I should go about fixing it?

Sometimes one of the filaments will fall against the other and cause wierd problems. Sometimes I can't find anything wrong with them and changing them still solves the problem. I'd start by changing the bulbs because it's easy and cheap - then you don't have to worry about that. If that didn't work, I'd start checking grounds. If that didn't work then I'd tear apart the column and check the switch and harness. If that didn't work I'd start going to church more.
