They do look good, wonder about weight and thickness of material, compared to the original. I still have the original on my 73, and it looks almost as good as new.
I saw these a couple of weeks ago. I'm still thinking if I should get one or not. Out here in Ca. we need to have the front plate in place, and they take that very seriously.
I like it. Now, I just have to convince the state that I need the additional cooling and can ditch the front plate.
Here in Va they technically require a front tag. However there is a loop in the antique vehicle code; "If vehicle was not factory equipped with front tag mount, the requirement to display a front tag is waved"..or something to that affect. In 73 and 74 the St Louis factory shipped Corvettes with the center grille installed. The tag mount was dealer installed where the law required it. sooo....my story is it came from the factory with no front tag mount. ...and I am sticking to it! IT's been years and many LEO's have looked over the car...the subject has never been mentioned. You may want to check Wisc code for such an out.
