Default wiper door valve

Who knows how to test the wiper door solenoid valve,I placed an order from a vendor, received parts, tested valve, shows to be bad, vendor is sending another one.

I have a paper that shows how to test but I am just checking to be sure I did it correctly.

Below is a picture of the valve.

Hi 71,
What does your 'paper' say to do?
Push the button in. Attach the vacuum pump to the unmarked port. It should maintain vacuum while the red and white ports are open.
Attach the vacuum pump to the white port, don't push the button in. The white port holds vacuum while the red port is open.
The red port is always open regardless of the position of the button.
Regards,
Alan

Thanks Alan, that is what I was doing, got my second one and it won't hold a steady vacuum either, both ports leak down in about 3 seconds.
well looks like both will go back to the vendor,at least he did send out a replacement and included return shipping to his address.everything else has been good from him so no name calling about him.
Still wish these things would be tested before shipping it would save some

based on all my problems with MY parts,

What does tha mean ?am I the only one on this forum that gets BAD parts ??and complains abut vendors.

OK I deleted my other post I screwed up one thing , sorry.
Let me list how I think it should test.

Button up or out
White port will hold vacuum.
Red and unmarked should not hold vacuum

Button down or in
Vacuum should pass between red and white ( block white and red should hold vacuum )
unmarked port won't hold vacuum

1971corvette ,the most important position is when the button is pushed in,that involves the red and white port only.
They must pass vacuum between each other and not leak when the vacuum is built up to maximum.

Alan , when you put vacuum on the unmarked port does the bellows suck in ?
I'm trying to imagine how that port will hold vacuum ?

Roger I had the same test as you sent, same as doc rebuild I have looks like both valves are bad, sent both back and and requested a refund.
next vendor I but parts from that have any thing to do with vacuum or electrical I will request they test before sending.maybe this will cut out some time and wasted money.
this started as pull the wiper motor to clean it up, now dash is out to replace the firewall insulation, was told you just have to remove the dash now I am back to the shifter & trans so much for driving it this weekend.
