I almost bought that one for mine how do you like it? 3300 is some kick butt cfm for a single.

I only have a 50 amp alt so everyone and their mother said dont use it.

Went with a 16" single spal which is only 2360 I think...highly modded 350 with underdrive pulleys. So far so good but may look into that one you got thats 1000 more cfm.

Did you use the probe temp switch system or the traditional type?

You can find the entire MKVIII set up on ebay sometimes. I got the fan and relay there for like 120 bucks. It came with wiring as well as the part number for various temp controllers. You have to upgrade your alternator but there are many options for that as well. Overall it cost me 200 bucks for everything.

Default Electlric Fans

I went to electric fan for noise reduction. Had to change the alt. to a 100 amp.

No heat trouble, but did go with aluminum rad. when the original started to leak all over.

Have not run on a hot night with lights on around town, that would be a real test. We get few hot nights in central New York.

Fan Controller, soft start adjustable temp.

That looks like it will work,we only have 25 inches between the radiator and a-arms. anything wider will not work,it will hit a-arms.The flex a lite fan i have is 27 inches,it fits radiator ,but wont fit between a-arms.

I'm running a Be Cool fan and radiator setup, and they work great. Mine are billet aluminum finish and look fantastic. Be Cool's wiring harnesses and temp sending units make it easy for a gorilla fingered noob like me to work on.

Just my opinion...

Also,i guarrentee if you use water wetter in your radiator it will stay cool.i used in my other vehicle 3 to 4 bottles of the stuff and it cooled it down 20 degrees cooler,it really works.I have a intercooler ,condenser, oil cooler,in front of my radiator and i just added water wetter and it cooled it down with out any other mods. this vehicle is supercharged too, builds alot more heat in the engine, its a v8 truck, modified ,with stock radiator.it use to over heat when it got 90 and above outside.

You can see the radiator and fans in this photo. Not the best angle, but you can get an idea.
