DeWitts dual Spal is a very nice setup. A little expensive comparatively, but very clean, reliable and effective.

Or if you have some fabrication skills, here's a Taurus 3.8 L fan on a Dewitt's radiator:

Lincoln Mark 8 fan.... Mounts up easy on a Vette radiator, just be prepared for expensive 75amp relay, 50 amp Circuit breaker, a ton of thick gauge wiring and a 140 amp alternator/charge wire upgrade.

I just completed this on my BB.... Ofcourse right now is only in the high 80s here but it will pull my BB from 210* down to the 160* thermostat, idling in the driveway with the AC on and 8 mins.

Still have fan setup? Can you send pics? Is the setup strong enough to cool my 72 with a 350, bored .030 over, and mild crane cam? I live in Florida and cooling is just about ALWAYS an issue, year round. I'm currrently running a flex fan plus an electrical fan from Summit, in the summer sitting at idle you can watch the Temp rise and and I do not have AC in the car. Let me know

Yes,MJ9311 is talking to me about buying it but if he doesnt want it and goes for the lincoln fan ,its yours if if you want, you dont have to buy anything like wires ,relays, brackets, etc. Its all there in this complete kit.You can see the fan on summit racing website and its FLX-295,its the best fan system you can buy,its for the high hp cars or trucks etc,it will cool it down guarrenteed or you have a engine problem.

FLX 295? That setup is 27.5" wide x 4" thick.

Better measure your A-Arms carefully. There's only about 24" between them and they are about 1-1/2" from the radiator. They will interfere with this fan setup.

Do Google search for "Big Block From Hell". There is a nice writeup on using C4 dual fans. I have these and like them.

Jegs BCI-75007 fan is the same fan sold by Dewitt's. You can buy it less expensive from A1 Electric.

Dual 13 inch Spals with BeCool rad. I always like to run 2 fans in case one dies Although I have never had to turn the 2nd one on yet ( I have a switch for 1 or 2 fans in my ashtray) it is also wired directly to the battery through a 120Amp DC keyed battery disconnect switch ( also in ashtray ) for those hot days when everything fails
