Thanks Motorhead, so why don't they plug the prim also and control the AF with jetting? Really good stuff as I am learning a lot from you guys.

I'm not Motorhead, but-
The power valve is an enrichment device thats used to provide additional fuel when the engine is under load.
If you remove your power valve and up the jets enough to have proper mixture at W.O.T., you will run VERY rich when you are just cruising around.
Blocking the secondary power valve is not a problem, because its rare that you are driving with the secondaries open when you are not under a load.
If you had 1:1 throttle linkage, then a secondary power valve would be more important.

I am one oversized on pistons, alum heads ported. Have a dominator 750 with adjustable jet blocks from AED. Love that as I can fine tune the jets. I took advise MotorHead and blocked my PV on secondary. Pulls hard now all the way to top. Only problem I am having and always had is that I have to pump throttle once to get the idle back down. If I richen the air bleeds, it will settle down but too rich and motor floods. What do you guys think might be causing my idle to not settle? Be great if I can get this to work as I really enjoy ride.
