Default pulley problems

Im putting vintage air on my 71 sb.It already has power steering.The pump has the cast iron pulley on it.I have a 2 groove crank pulley.I put the add on pulley on it to make 3 grooves just like the factory.Now the the pump pulley needs to come fwd a 1/2 inch to line up with the add on pulley.I cant shim the pump enough to line up with out the bolt hitting the alt belt the rides just in front of it.Is there another pump pulley the factory put on for this reason.I seen a stamped pulley and a cast iron pulley on them.

I think you need to add a third groove to the water pump pulley, not the crank, at least thats the case with my '71 bb but not real sure about the sb.

Small block is set up different.2 groove water pump pulley and 3 groove crank pulley.The fact assy manual shows the pump belt runs from the outer 3rd groove to the pump and the center groove runs around the center crank pulley ,water pump pulley and the ac comp.
