Removing gauges from bezel--Help

How does the front clock adjustment stem disconnect from the assembly? It's the only thing hanging me up from removing the gauges from the bezel. I've tried pulling and turning to unscrew it, with no luck...

I've got a 1977...

If yours is like my 69 it has an Allen screw in the middle of the ***, screw it out and the *** will pull off, Hope this works for you. I don't know much about 77s. Good luck.

Mine is missing, I just went to check it out. The **** unscrews from the post. My post has threads where the **** was. I believe you pull the **** out then turn counter clockwise to thread it off. Anyone know where I may find a ****??

mine have a watchmakers size slot screw that holds the **** on-don't drop it!

Hi,
My 71 has the slotted screw too. You really need a eyeglasses repair screw driver to fit. I also agree... don't drop it.

Some of the vendors list the clock **** & screw in their instrument section. $10-$11.
