Creaky wheel
For sometime now I have been experiencing a creak, squeek and a pop in my T & T steering wheel when turning right or left.
On another forum a couple years ago someone mentioned it was probably a frame crack at the steering gear housing. I looked at the area on the frame and didn't see anything so I left it at that......it works fine.
Anybody with any ideas......it's beginning to bug me !!

Try the simple stuff first. The wheel is held onto the hub with ~6 screws. Pop the horn button off, and check the tightness of those screws. If they are loose, they make a noise like you describe.
