Default Removing Bondo

Anyone have any solutions for removing bondo besides sanding? Bubba did a great job of fixing a crater and there is about a 3/4" deep X 6" wide patch of bondo in one location that I need to get out in order to fix it right. Thanks in advance.

Get a 40 grit wheel and have at it. It shouldn't take more than a minute or two. If it's really 3/4" deep, it needs to be fiberglassed. But.....what part of the body is 3/4" thick? Most of the body is around 1/8"-1/4" and "bondo" should be fine.

When I said crater I meant one that was as big as tranquility base. The "hole" however it got there is where the rear quarter panel joins the top deck just behind the passenger window. The fiberglass got pushed in and instead of doing it right and cutting it out and fibergalssing they just filled in the resulting gash with Bondo (must have used a whole can). Not a bad job considering I did not know it was there when I bought the car 12 years ago. It was not until I stripped it that I got the "surprise". I intend on fixing it right. Just thought there might be a faster way to get it all.

Paint stripper for fiberglass will soften it so it can be scaped off. Stripper hates bondo!
