Default 1968 body mounts

If 68 body mounts are solid do they ever need to be replaced?

Hi pman,
I agree with kid, but would first take a look at what condition your mounts are in.
Often it's the #1 and #4 mounts that suffer since they're the ones exposed; especially the #4 mount.
Regards,
Alan

Yes #1 and#4 mounts look crusty.

These are #4 mounts and #1 look the same.

I would like to replace 1 and 4 only or is that a bad idea?

I could be wrong, but I think you will have to remove all 4 body mount bolts in one side to raise the body a bit to replace any of the pucks, so you should just replace them all.

I ordered a complete set of body mounts, might as well do them all while I'm at it.
