Default EGR Vacuum Ported Valve Switch

I purchased my first Vette, and am doing some work on her. I am trying to figure this out. My EGR Vacuum Ported Valve Switch has to vacuum connections (which I have connected), but then i have an electrical port that is broken off. What wire is connected to this port?

Are you sure it's for the EGR? Could you be referring to this part?

Yes, that's the part. What wire goes to that terminal.
Thanks

Looking at the picture of the part and the diagram on the website, are you sure that's an electrical connection? In the photo it looks like a vent with a small filter in it. Maybe someone else will chime in that is more familiar with the part

yes,it has a vent so when the temp reaches the set-point, it moves and and vents the otherwise sealed system for the EFE valve (not wanted on hot engine). Not EGR.

I tried taking a reading, with no luck.

it should match manifold vac when stone cold. when hot, one port should match manifold vac and the other should read zero. that is only if it is for the EFE system. I believe it is for the vacuum advance system! It locks in full advance until the engine is hot and then lets the advance work as it should when hot. get a book.
