My gauges werent working so I pulled the gauge cluster out and found the wiring harness plug was only half plugged in. I can see some of the tabs on the cb were broken off. Im going to order a new cb. My question is about the open holes on the back. Should there be a light socket in each of the 3 open areas? Does it matter what color socket goes in each hole? I also see just to the right of where the plug goes in, theres a nut missing. Will I need to get a new one when I install the new cb? I just wanted to figure out what all I will need to order besides the cb. TIA......Dave

Reason: pic not working
you have all the nuts in the right place. Looks like you just need to replace the printed circuit.
The housing show below has the low fuel warning module in it, and you have a bulb.. (upper left hand corner)... you should remove this bulb socket and place it in the one below where you are missing one. If you leave it where you have it the light will stay on all the time. In the two on the right hand side in the picture.. yes.. these need to be bulbs and not open holes.
Here is a link the printed circuit on the forum special section of the site too!
Thanx. I have no dash lights and when I pulled my instrument cluster, I also noticed that some of the thin copper "lines" were broken as well as the one of the ones where the connector fits into was folded over. I'm going to purchase another circuit board. I suspect I have a problem in the wiring but since the circuit board I have is in bad shape. Thanx again.
