Are any of you guys running aftermarket seats in your early C3's? If so, what do you guys recommend?
I'm getting ready to tackle the interior, and I either need to show the factory seats some love or invest in some aftermarket seats. What's unusual is that the coupe features the moldings for shoulder belt retractors, the passenger seat has the passthrough for shoulder belts, BUT the driver's seat does not! So at some point in time the seats were swapped anyways.
I'm 6'4 and have a '72 coupe, so I need the seat as far back and as low as possible. Would like to add shoulder belts at the same time as possible.
I'm rebuilding the coupe as simple as possible, so don't need anything crazy fancy either.
Is there a particular part number or Sparco bucket that I should be looking at? What else will I need? (seat tracks, new belts, etc.)
Would anyone be interested in my C3 seats or should I pitch them?
I recently purchased a couple of sets of Fiero seats for installation in my 71 coupe. I am 6'1" and have plenty of room in my coupe. I also have two sets of Fiero seats for sale. Pm me with your email and I'll send you some pics if you might be interested. Mr. Mikes has some good looking seat covers, and that is what I used. Thanks.
