Heres a picture of the locally fabricated (Sweden) solid aluminium mounting bracket for the drivers side.
It definetly reduces the flexing that the thick factory suplied rubber mount has.
That's a pretty sweet looking bracket.
I've had my steeroids kit on for about 2 years now with ZERO fitment issues. Never noticed any "flex" in the mount though. Wouldn't any flex throw out the alignment specs?
As as forum sponsor I'm surprised speed direct has not commented directly on this.
I have now been driving my car trough the summer with the Steeroids R&P and the kit works wery well.
No signs of rubbing tyres or other funny things.
The only thing that i can comment on are that i would like an even quicker steering..
The Steeroids kit gives me about 2,5 turns "lock to lock" but then the Steeroids dont have the same turning ratio (the frontwheels turns less than with the original steering) so the overall change in quick steering isnt that big really..
Are there any other modifications one can do to get a bit quicker steering?
Are there any shorter aftermarket "steering arms" (correct word?) than the original ones monted on the spindles?
