alternator/gauge question
Okay Group,
I am posting this question for my husband. He put on a single wire alternator and now the gauge/gauges don't work. Any ideas or solutions would be welcome. If that makes no sense at all then he will have to give me more information or post again himself.

The gauge uses one of the 2 wires in the plug that's not being used with the "one wire" alternator.
The second thing is that the one wire alternator won't charge until the engine has been up over (1000-1500RPM?) anyway, above idle , and may not charge at idle.
