Well, if Lars really got the 'boot', CorvetteLoad must be 'connected' with the moderators, somehow. And if this is really the case, I won't we party to this Forum anymore (not that anyone will care ).

I think we should all hang tight and see how this shakes out.

Im a Noob to CF, but not to turning wrenches. I have been a professional grease monkey for 10 years or so, and I learned a lot from Lars. So, EVEN I think this is BS. If it was over this piddly little stuff we need to get a lil more info on this. I think there HAS to be more to it if we are losing a guy like this.

I'm rather disappointed in the mods for this one as well. I emailed Lars and asked him to join another well known forum that is very good on technical questions to expound his knowledge. I hope he decides to post over there.
He was very selfless in sending everyone that asked the Q-jet tuning guide which I received and intend to give a try this winter. The tube bending incident was minor compared to what I've seen on other forums including this one. Everyone has their opinion but it seems that Lars could back his up to provide great knowledge that saved the OP some grief.

What a loss this will be. I have not been on here that long but have been long enough to see he is extremely knowlegable and always seems willing to help anyone. Just exactly what I am looking for on this site!

I am quite disappointed in the mods decision to pull Lars. He said and did nothing to warrant this.Might as well ban the rest of us too as I will be on another forum as well!!!!!

I don't think Lars has been banned. He is still in the Members list. He dropped out once before due to idiots arguing with him and he has probably done so again. Can't say I blame him.

I have been around this place for awhile and the moderators of this sand box are pretty thinned skin. I have seen it too many times over the years. So I am done here. There are better places to hang out then to put up with nonesence.

I would like to see simple answer instead of berating. Too often a question about how part X works will turn into how stupid you are for wanting part X when part Y is far superior and the original question never gets actually answered.
