Default question for the winter

My toy spends a lot of time in the garage (nasty weather in Wis) Does it make sense it start the thing every month or so just to keep oil up in the motor or is it just a waste of time. It gets put up around oct 1 and won't see the street until may 1 if I'm lucky. Thanks in advance

Do a search on this subject and you'll find the best thing is NOT to start it unless you're going to take it out for a long drive.

All the post/replies I've seen on this subject, the answer is no in the majority of them. I have not started my 78 until the spring. It starts every spring. Do a search on winter storage and you can get more information.

I agree with Mike , here in Canada our winters are not pretty, I just put stabil in the gas and a C-tek charger and leave it till your ready, no fuss no muss, that goes for everything I own,Ron
