Listed in the 1973 sales brochure as part of the standard features

Exhaust valve rotators?

No clue, but I like where they make the stationary rear window sound like a plus . . . . "Only now the rear window stays neatly in place."

These are used in place of the valve retainers to force valve rotation when in use to reduce hot spots and to help clean the valve seat faces. These became widely used with the no lead fuels, but were widely used in the truck market also. Not a performance item at all.
