Re: Has anyone replace their ammeter with a volt meter? (flynhi)
Flynhi-The 15lbs adjustment per setting that you were told doesn't make any sense at all. You need to bypass the sale dept. and talk with a tech. I just got off he phone with VB and talk to Brian, a technician. The approx. change per setting is 125lbs. The total adjustment is approx. 400 lbs. to 700lbs. It depends on what spring you have. The spring part number is marked on the spring. Eckler advertises the adjustment at 300 lbs. to 700lbs.

Actually both sound suspicious. Paul's number sounds too low and your tech's and Eckler's sound too high. After all the adjustment only moves the fulcrum point a half inch or so with total change being about 2" per side. It's hard to believe that a 2" adjustment would make a difference of 300 lbs.
Can the Tech at VB provide test results?

flynhi-you could be right! Brain wasn't exact on what the spring rate was. He's said it depended on what spring you had. I didn't know there was an option when buying the kit. I have mine set at the second position. I need to get shocks. BAD! Is VB under new ownership?
