They cleared it, sanded it, painted the stripe then several clear coats on top of that. Next wet sand and buff

Thanks guys. I read a while back that putting clear before the stripes makes it easier to fix up potential problems with the stripe edges.

Finally got it back from paint. Just a few quick shots will have some better ones over the weekend

Great attention to detail!
I can't tell you how many cars I've seen that look very nice on the outside, but are held together by chewing gum, baling wire and electrical tape on the inside.
Great to see someone do it right.

I am dropping my headers and side pipes off at Jet Hot Coatings next week and they will be either black or brushed. I welcome your comments.

I gotta say that I wondered around this decision myself for a while. I went with black and they absolutely pop. However, my car is sunflower yellow but given your black accents on your paint job I think black will look awesome.
