Looks great to me Bob - you said you bought it from various places. Where did you get the master cylinder and hydro unit, and if you fit the hydro, do you then need a power brake master cylinder? I'd go for this system if I could locate all the parts.

I've got to attend to the brakes and steering before I buy the hydro, but I'm happy now that this is the choice for me. Regards.
And you will never ever regret how it preforms... Simply put.... Amazing!...:t humbs:

one of the top 5 mods for a C3 imho

I'll PM the information. Corvette Forum rules suggest I not post sites that aren't on the supporting vendor list. If anyone else is interested, I can send a Personal Message to them as well.

I replaced my 70 factory P/B with a hydrobeast. Removing the vacuum canister was one of the worst things I've ever had to do. This was even with the speedo/tach dash panel removed and ..of course...the seat removed. However, for re-install of the hydrobeast, I removed the steering column. This really turned a terrible job into a normal level difficulty job. With everything out, I rebuilt the assembly that contains the brake/clutch pedals. Some wear was evident. Also, that gross cast iron bracket that mates the steering column to the bottom of the windshield frame was replace with a lighter stamped steel bracket from an 82. The hydrobeast is heavy and with the stock cast iron MC, that's a lot of weight to be cantalevered on the firewall bolts, so I replaced the stock cast iron MC with a billet aluminum MC from the Stainless Steel Brake Corporation.

My main reason for going with the hydrobeast is that I don't have to worry about interference with extra tall valve covers and the vacuum canister. I bought my set up from VB and P. Nice, clean, quality looking kit. More expensive that going with salvage parts, but I opted for the convenience.

Hydroboost from the scrapyard out of a surburban '94 : 30$.
Rebuilt kit : 50$ (very easy to rebuilt, a few part, mostly o-rings)
