Default Block Hugger Headers on SB

Has anyone had any experience fitting block hugger headers to there SB? I'm fitting a new R&P steering unit from RRS in my RHD '69 vert, as the flaming river unit that has been fitted, has been knocked back by the compliance engineer here in Oz, due to excessive bump steer. The RRS R&P unit I'm fitting requires a little more room for connection from the end of the steering column. These units have been redisigned here in Oz specifically for C3's and reduce the bump steer to 1mm down from the original 26mm.

I installed McJacks headers on my 1975 SBC. The fit was great. They are copper line and a nice exterior coating. Put a straight edge on them when I got them, straight on the money. Well worth it, and they hooked right into my stock duals.
