Default Firewall Routing

I have a favor to ask. When I got my Vette, the PO had taken it mostly apart, pulled wiring, vacuum lines, all kinds of weird stuff without labeling anything. I got the engine running before I pulled so there was no surprises there, but now I have to figure where all the lines and wires pass thru the firewall, and where stuff mounts. I've been studying the AM and having a lot of confusion there. I can tell the Wiring connector and the Fiber optics, but the rest of the vacuum lines, a few odd wires, and the activators for the wiper door, the cannister for it, the manual switches for the light doors, I haven't figured out yet.

Does anyone have bare firewall pics of a '70 that they can post and label what goes thru what hole, and what mounts where? Even a firewall pic before you dropped the engine back in would be helpfull. I've been doing a lot of surfing for pics, and resto web sites looking for pics, and so far I've wasted a few days without find much that will help me.

Thanks guys.

Hi Dave,
I didn't post any pictures because my 71 is a bit different than your 70 because the vacuum relay for the wiper door is in a different place. So the hoses are routed differently. On 70s I believe it's mounted to the firewall, just to the right of the master cylinder; but in 71 it's mounted on the fender apron behind the right front wheel.
The clearest vacuum hose routing drawings in the AIM are on pages UPC 12, Sheets A 13, A 14, and A15.
Regards,
Alan

Thanks Alan, I was stopping too early in the AIM, trying to figure it out at about pages a4/5. That helps. My AIM still shows the relay as mounting to the fender skirt, maybe that was a mid year change?
