What is this plug for?
Took the gauge console and radio out of my 1980 and noticed this round plug. It has 9 pins and is attached by a blue, green, yellow, black and tan wire. It wasn't attached to anything. What is it supposed to be attached to?

Doesn't look like any factory plug.

I'm not sure but that looks like some type of plug that was used on a after market radio or amp...

The colors it's attached to is what you would need for an aftermarket radio. Someone had one in there and never disconnected them.

Flux capacitor connector. If you hook it back up, don't go over 80 mph!

Its the power plug for the piston return springs. If its not plugged in, how is your engine running?

So if your calculations are correct when this thing hits 88 mph I'll see some serious ****?
I figured it wasn't THAT important because the car IS running and the radio worked.
Thanks for the input regardless...especially the BTTF reference..love that movie!
