door won't shut
Having a problem with my door not shutting it won't latch and the outer handle doesn't feel like it's attached to anything.I took the door panel off and took a look the spring on the outside handle, the squeeze type looks like one end is not in the right position.If I take a screwdriver and push the outer handle up it closes right but once I open it it's back to not latching any help is appreciated

Not sure if this will help, I had a different problem, I couldn't get out of my car. The latch mechanism would bind up and the wimpy pushrods attached to the door handle would just buckle. Fixed the problem by taking the panel off and spraying lock ease (graphite lube) into the mechanism, now it's like new. Maybe your having the same problem but the mechanism is binding after you open the door, causing the door latch to remain in the open position?
