Default BTO torque converter

Does anyone here have any experience with the torque converters from Bow Tie Overdrives? I'm think of using their 2200 stall converter on my 2004R installation.

So it's working well?

I'll also be running a 3:55 rear. The engine is a stock low HP crate motor; future plans include heads and cam, nothing radical.

Been running great for several years. Lots of highway driving including trips to Bowling Green, Ky NCM. No issues or complaints.

I'm running the bto 2200 converter with one of their 700r4's , I have a 383 , 3.54 gears and run high 12's at the track , No problems so far after 10k mi, very nice for a street cruiser.

2200 is just about where the stock Grand National converter was. Makes for nice street manners and still can use the revs of a good motor. Nice combination IMHO.

Yea, that's why I figured the BTO 2200 would be good for my application. I actually have the stock converter from my CZ (Monte SS) 2004R, but I don't know the history of that transmission and don't really want to trust it.
