Default Holley Carb

What model of holley carb is this. I have looked all over for a tag or number and can't find anything. Where is the model number or part number located?

Whoa....the sight plug is comprised of a bolt.
And the fuel lines are pretty much all rubber. Please be careful, it's a fire waiting to happen. Please use metal lines as much as possible.

What we do know based on the pic:
It is a vacuum secondary 4 barrel Holley.
It has the quick change vacuum secondary housing.
Based on the shape of the intake below the carb, it is NOT a spreadbore carb.
The choke mechanism is completely missing. The choke blade is just along for the ride.
As far as size: it can be anything from a 600-850.
Give us the LIST # on the carb air horn and we can help ya out.

Heres the other side. Notice the throttle cable and spring return. Bubba did some fine work here. Lots of clean.

I can't read the numbers and it's hard to say from the shallow view of the venturi, but it looks like a model 1850, 600 cfm. Based upon the other carb features, it could be only a model 1850 or a 3310, 750 cfm. You'll have to get the carb LIST number from the front of the carb's airhorn, then go to the Holley tech site and look up the carb. Someone also added a secondary metering block to the thing so don't let that throw you off thinking it's in the 4150 line. I'm not a member of Facebook so the link serves no purpose for me.

The 80570 is the model. It appears to be a street avenger, but that model would be 0-80570. The last three digits denote the CFM rating (570 CFM in this case). Holley supplies the rubber fuel lines with the carb inthe box, but Jegs / Summit has a nice aftermarket fuel line setup. Even has a 1/8" NPT port for a pipe thread.

If you want the pretty steel lines, I believe this is a 4150 series Holley. They will run you about $35. Holley part 34-150.

Is worth fixing up or should I move on. No choke, missing linkage? Is it ok for 383?

If it is a 570 cfm carb its too small for a 383, look for a good 750 cfm carb, there are usually a few on craigslist.

Thats what I thought. I only drove it away from Bubbas about 15 miles and it stumbled all over itself when I put my foot in it.
