Default heater hose routing

so my damn heater box/core is leaking all over my passenger floorboard I am up at school right now and dont have a place to work on the car at the moment till i can get it back to home one of these near weeks. I would like to at least route the heater hoses that go into and out of the firewall/core so i can still drive the car without dumping more coolant, anyone have a diagram of the hose routings?

the easiest thing to do is put cutoff valves in both heatercore hoses. i just did this on my 82 to keep hot coolant out of the pass compartment. i keep them open in the winter and closed in the summer.
i bought them at lowes. there quarter turn brass cutoff valves. and i bought the screw in heater hose connectors at oreillys in the heater section. there in the little red HELP packages. you need 2 for each valve. 2 5/8 and 2 11/16 then you can just close the valves and no coolant will leak.
hope this helps

For a quick temporary fix just cut the 5/8 hose and squeeze it onto the 3/4 nipple. That loop will circulate the water to and from the manifold to the water pump.
