Have seen them on a 72 vette, and they sound great and look great,did not like the weld mark that turn blue, maybe they could be buff, looking to get a set for my 81 with a 383 stroker motor.

OBX = Chinese knock off

They may fit and hold up great, but then again they may not. I almost bought a set for my GMC pick up until people started reporting that they were hitting the floorboards. That particular design is a knock off of Dynatech. I'd bet you that their side pipe design is virtually identical to the one that Hooker put R&D time in to designing.

You get what you pay for.

My 1972 SB Coupe came with them already installed when I purchased the car last August - other than a bent pipe hanging bracket on the passenger side I really have no complaints.

I dropped 2.5" Sweet Thunder inserts in and they fit fine as well; the previous owners were running open pipes.

Would they have been MY first choice? Probably not. But since they came on the car, no real complaints since I've had them.
