i have lots of HF tools and like most of them....one that did not work well was the chicago electric battery charger that had a several nice features like high amps for cranking and a trickle charge setting....i wound up throwing it out, it just never worked right..i still like HF tools though that just wasnt was one of the good ones....
I have only been to hf once and I guess its ok stuff for barnyard repairs! Just kidding..there's nothing in there that could be considered quality..meaning real use..I don't think I would trust something plugged into my house in the garage being unsupervised for months from there..I dont use a tender anyhow..my thought is if the battery can't last a few months without being charged then its junk anyhow..I think I got a rubber malet there but it lasted about 20 minutes..
