another lighting mod i've had some curiosity about is setting up to have all four headlamps run as driving lights (hi-low beams). i think that would make for a unique look...

But the headlamp doors would be up.

If the car is pre-1980 you can use Hella OptiLux (or similar) driving lamps behind the grilles. They are very bright. This will not work on 1980-82 as the grille slats are slanted (not completely horizontal).

heh, i meant at night with the doors up as normal. i was taking about having all four headlamp bulbs on at night (in non hi-beam mode).

but having the lamps on with the doors down does look... different.

Looks sweet, I thought about that too, I was going to cut in some driving lights but didn't want to cut up the grilles, very nice job!
